FEB1508 Just finished a new redesign of the website (gee.. how many of these do I do in a year?). The new design put the latest completed works up front and center, and hopefully gets the art out to the viewer better than before. Also, since the majority of viewers still use Internet Explorer hopefully the new design will look better on their browsers. More art coming soon... have a numbe of projects in the works at the moment!

JAN2208 Added a new oil painting titled "The Crane Wife" based on an old Japanese folktale. Also submitted this piece for the 2008 Spectrum competition and round #1 of The Last Man Standing art contest over at ConceptArt.org... with any luck It'll do well in both competitions!

NOV0107 Self portrait in oil added. This is from participation in an informal "Self portrait" day on ConceptArt.org. Check out the main thread here. This was quick and fun, though normally I would be able to spend a lot more time on a painting... this would usually be only the first step.

OCT2707 Added a new oil painting to the gallery, also had spiffied up some images here and there for etter web viewing (most people probably won't notice the changes as they were prtty minor. Am continuing to take limited edition print orders and am working on making additional pieces available as well. Am concentrating abit more on oil painting again, feels good to have a physical object for all your efforts!

SEP0907 After many months of work and planning the Wicked-Frog artshop is now up and running! Currently there are 2 limited edition prints being sold (just click the 'shop' button along the menu) but there will be more prints and other items added soon. Also the site underwent a minor renovation both in appearance and code, and a few more images were added to the gallery as well.

APR1307 The artshop has temporarily been taken down until I can get prints up and running. But there are other things in the works... I'm working on an oil painting to submit to the upcoming Grafuck book. here's a preview. Have a few more paintings coming along nicely as well. More updates soon.

MAR1707 I've been wanting to post a section on this site to buy original art and prints for a while now, and finally have devoted the time to get it up and running. So far there's only one painting for sale, but other items will follow shortly. Click on the artshop link above and take a look at the shop so far!

JAN2807 Last week I received a new Slate PC, specifically so I could draw and paint directly on the screen. It works surprisingly well, and I've been having fun putting it through it's paces. I wrote a little review with pictures and videos that shows how well this type of setup works from an artst's perspective. Take a look at the review here.

JAN1507 It's a brand new year, and Wicked-Frog has a swanky new design. The galleries have been edited a bit and weeded through, what's left should be a good consistent set of quality art. Also there are a few NEW art additions so definately have a look! Feel free to drop a line and rag on me for arbitrarily moving stuff around. Happy New Year everyone!

SEP0106 ImagineFX Magazine saw fit to publish a one pager on me in their September 2006 issue! It has pictures, and text and everything a nice glossy mag should. Not bad to be put alongside some of the most happenin' peeps in the sci-fi/fantasy art world. If you missed the issue you can find back editions for sale on their website.

JUN1306 The nice folks over at 3DTotal.com have published a making of Tutorial from one of my digital paintings. Doesn't go too in-depth, but it does give some insight into my painting process. Check it outhere!
